ZTE’s Nubia 5 and Grand S get ready for their American debut! ZTE if your unfamiliar is a multinational telecomm company that has been pumping out smart phone and feature phone options for years. Early last year however the company announced they intend to strengthen their value within the boundaries of the US and China. Right around the same time it was estimated ZTE was in the lead of handsets shipped, beating out Apple by owning some 5% of the global smart phone market share.  As the company pushed into the two markets it slowly became one of the five largest smart merchants in the country. As the push for more market share continues, ZTE introduces the Nubia 5 and Grand S into the American market!

Grand_SThe Nubia 5 launched across the globe as the Nubia Z5 and proved to be a solid smart phone. The Nubia 5 dropped the Z and improved upon the specifications of its predecessor. The Nubia 5 is set to come into the states unlocked and not tied down to any carrier for $450 bucks. The device starts with a 5 inch full HD touch screen display that offers up a 1920×1080 pixel resolution and gives its users control over Android 4.1.2 aka Jelly Bean. Internally the device runs with a more than capable 1.5 GHz quad core Snapdragon S4 processor, 2 GB of Ram, 16 GB of memory, and expandable micro SD memory options. Around back of the Nubia 5 we find a 13 mega pixel camera that offers up a Konica-Minolta lens with “intelligent stabilization”. Up front a 2 mega pixel sensor is available for all your selfies.  ZTE is also introducing the Grand S into the American market and will cost end users about $400 bucks unlocked. The device starts with a 5 inch HD display and runs Android version 4.1.2. Internally it packs in a 1.5 GHz Quad core SnapDragon S4 processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. Around back a 13 mega pixel camera as well as a 2 mega pixel front facing sensor. Both of these handsets will go on pre-order around the web starting October 5th.
