ZTE Announces the Grand S II
The ZTE Grand S II gets announced and brings some excellent updates to the line. The ZTE brand is not necessarily a popular make here stateside however the company has been producing some awesome handsets around the world for quite some time. Normally when one the companies’ devices reach a US carrier it gets branded as if the carrier made the device. With that said ZTE has been pumping out some excellent smart phones in the past few years and with CES getting under way it is time to see some next generation devices. The Grand S II is here!
The Grand series of devices from ZTE has spawned a few different models. The Grand X, and the Grand Memo are just a few. The Grand S however has been a staple of the Grand’s and even made its way stateside in October of last year. Way back in January of 2013 ZTE took the wraps off of their flagship Grand S smart phone and just one year and a few days later, the Grand S II is official! While the original Grand S had its shortcomings, the Grand S II has filled in all of the downside with excellence! The Grand S II starts with a 5.5 inch 1080P full HD touch screen that is built around a highly capable Snapdragon 800 processor, 16 GB of built in storage and all of the standard connectivity one would fine in a high powered Android device. Additionally the Grand S II is set to ship with a 13 mega pixel rear facing camera while a 2 mega pixel shooter can be found up front facing forward. Unfortunately, for now at least the details surrounding the rest of the device have taken a back seat to the handsets voice recognition features. The newly improved voice recognition software will allow you and as well as friends and family to take a picture using your voice as well as a new feature called My-Drive which will allow the voice software to be hands free friendly when behind the wheel. Lastly the Grand S II adds a rather large 3000 mAh battery that can surely last all day. A handful of details including its launch date are still unknown, however we suspect these tidbits to be announced shortly.
