ZTE Flash Leaks Suggest a Launch on the Now Network



If a company makes an amazing smart phone with all the high end specs you can dream of, but no one hears them roar, would you still be interested? ZTE has been making awesome consumer electronics for a long time now and more recently they have been taking there interest in the American smart phone market to newer heights. Usually when a new ZTE device makes it to our shores it is disguised in carrier branding and many consumers are left to believe that At&t and T-Mobile manufacture handsets. This is very much not the case and with the likes of this newly leaked ZTE Flash it looks like ZTE is making a move on the market to improve their branding stateside.

Late last month TalkAndroid.Com got their hands on what shows to be an internal Sprint document showing off the release dates, key features and specifications of a new high end smart phone, the ZTE Flash. According to this leaky document, ZTE is looking to make a splash in the top tier market. The details give any smart phone enthusiast reason to pause and take a good long hard look at the Flash. It starts with a 4.5 inch HD IPS display that is protected upon high with Gorilla Glass and comes packing a 1280×720 pixel resolution. Underneath its high resolution display is magic that begins with a 1.5 GHz Dual-Core MSM8960 processor that is backed by 8 GB of ROM, 1GB of RAM, expandable microSDXC memory and a 1780 mAh battery. All of this excellent power will give the likes of Android version 4.0 its go. Around back of this new slate styled handset is a 12.6 mega pixel camera with auto focus and LED flash. Up front a 1 mega pixel shooter is available. Additionally, at least according to the leak, we can expect 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth version 4.0 and NFC support.

Unfortunately the buck on details stops there. However the source of this info states that Sprint is anticipating launching the Flash on October 14th. But don’t bet the farm on it as Sprint’s leaky lineup is getting jam packed recently. So, anyone interested? I know I ‘am. This device sounds pretty awesome.
