The ZTE Concord II Makes Its Debut with T-Mobile
The ZTE Concord II arrives at T-Mobile! The relationship between ZTE and the magenta clad carrier T-Mobile has grown by one unit of smart phone today! The carrier and the manufacturer have worked together in the past to produce entry level to mid range devices. Devices like the first generation Concord and the Aspect come to mind. Today however ZTE and T-Mobile have announced the next gen Concord! While it may not knock your socks off in fit, finish or power the Concord II has a low price point and a spec sheet that is more than capable of handling what its end user tosses at it.
The original ZTE made T-Mobile bound Concord was first introduced and released back in August of 2012. Fast forward nearly two years later and the Concord II is here! While this new handset is no power house and is not going to compete in any flagship contests, its affordable price point and solid spec sheet make it an awesome contender in the mid to low range category. Walking the fine line between mid range and entry level the Concord II starts with the likes of Android version 4.3 running the show. The TFT quality touch screen is built into the devices 11mm thin housing and measures in at 4 inches and will offer up a 480×800 resolution at 233 pixels per inch. Underneath the hood the Concord II will offer up a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor that gets along with an unmanned GPU, 1 GB of Ram, 4 GB of storage and expandable micro SD memory options up to 32GB. Around back of the device resides a 5 mega pixel camera with LED flash that can record video in 720p definition. Powering all of this is an 1820 mAh battery that offers up an approximated 6 hours of continuous talk time. The handset will be available starting today and is offered up for $160 bucks. Additionally the device is said to be making its way to MetroPCS by May 19th.
