The iPhone 4G: Black or White?

Until Steve Jobs actually shows the much awaited iPhone 4G at WWDC on June 7 or the Yerba Buena Center for Arts on June 22, the rumors and speculations will continue to flood the Internet. Thus the demand and supply for leaks will continue, much to the joy and dismay of Apple fans.

This newest leak we have just uncovered involves the actual color of the upcoming iPhone 4G device. The first prototype which Gizmodo first reported on as well as the leaks from Vietnam revealed a black iPhone 4G, from the back to the front. More recent leaks indicate that the upcoming Apple smartphone may be available in four possible colors: .

Although Apple is renowned to use both black and white hues, this is possibly the first time wherein they are using a white front panel. With the first iPhone, the back area was white with a black strip at the bottom. The iPhone 3G and 3GS models sported either a white or black back casing. With the first three models, the front portion remained black. Are more bright colors coming into Apple’s future? Probably not but if the leaks are correct, maybe it would allow consumers to mix it up if they wish.

Which color is it really? We have no way of knowing yet which one Apple is really going for, or maybe it is both. Maybe they will surprise us with something entirely new, who knows? Regardless of the result, Apple fans are waiting patiently for the new iPhone 4G and would welcome a change in color, even if none of the leaks turn out to be real. Much like the late Michael Jackson used to sing, “It don’t matter if you’re black or white.”
