A White HTC EVO 4G LTE Listing Appears in the Wild

Do you remember the entire buzz that surrounded the white Apple iPhone 4? When the iPhone 4 was announced it was shown off in traditional fashion with a white and black version of the hardware. Shortly after its announcement, naturally comes launch. The company had some major setbacks with the manufacturing process of the device, it popped up in Vietnam, with non approved pieces, and even young entrepreneurs saw the value in the white unicorn and started importing OEM non approved pieces to make some cash.  But after its long battle in the manufacturing plant the white iphone made its way into the public’s hands, seemingly sparking a trend in mobile handsets. With the hype on white surrounding the mobile space, it seems that all other manufactures picked up on the trend, including HTC with their launch competitor EVO 4G.

Some leaky news out of TechnoBuffalo.com show that the white handset trend is also moving forward with the latest in evolution from HTC. If it’s not broken right? The HTC EVO 4G LTE has come under some pretty heavy fire for its two tone build, but a white in shining armor, HTC EVO 4G LTE may change all that, or at least give those bickering an alternative. TechnoBuffalo.Com got their hands on a screen shot of “Sprint’s warehouse inventory” and the unicorn white EVO 4G LTE sticks out like a sore thumb. Unfortunately the buck on this new horse stopped their as retail release dates are still shrouded in mystery. The HTC EVO 4G LTE is a beast of a phone no matter what color it comes in. As the kin to HTC’s now legendary One series the EVO LTE packs it in. It comes with a 4.7 inch touch screen S-LCD 2 display that clocks in a 720×1280 pixel resolution at 312 pixels per inch. It uses the likes of Android version 4.0 that is skinned with HTC infamous Sense 4.0. Internally it comes with a dual core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 Krait processor, a graphics processor, 1GB of RAM and 16 GB of external storage. Unlike its One cousins the EVO LTE can also expand its user memory with a microSDHC card slot that will accept up to an additional 32 GB. Around back an 8 mega pixel camera can do all the tricks you would expect it to as well as record video in full 1080p HD at 29 frames per second. Up front a 1.3 mega pixel camera is available. Additionally you can expect the likes of Bluetooth version 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b, g, n, NFC and micro USB connectivity. Now in white!
