Virgin Mobile Offers Up the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and the HTC One V
Sir Richard Branson and his infamous Sprint owned Virgin Mobile carrier has just upped the standard for pre-paid carriers across the board. Virgin Mobile is well known for offering up excellent pre-paid wireless service at super affordable prices and the handset offerings have just been improved triple fold! Sprint got themselves into a bit of hot water earlier this year when they dropped about $15.5 billion bucks on a gamble that would bring the beloved iPhone device to the carriers available selection of handsets. Luckily for the Now Network, in the shadow of their competitor Cricket, Virgin Mobile will now be taking a piece of that iPhone stock and pushing them to the pre-paid masses. But the iPhone is not the only contender in Virgin mix.
Virgin Mobile is now proudly offering up not only the iPhone 4, but the iPhone 4S and the mid-range super star the HTC One V. The HTC One V showed an un-functional face at this year’s MWC and sort of took the back burner to its bigger brothers the One X and One S. However the One V has seemingly found a new and fitting home with the likes of Virgin Mobile. The One V showed up on Virgin Mobile’s website late this week and is priced contract free at a super tempting $200 bucks! By contrast the recently launched iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S are priced at $550 and $650 respectively. We all should know what to expect from an iPhone, but what’s this One V thing all about? Well as the little brother to the high powered One S and One X, your expectation should be high, and satisfaction will be right around the same height. The One V uses a very unique slate style build that is carved from a single piece of high quality aluminum. Its design, while seemingly standard sports a bit of “chin” for a more natural feel when using it as a phone, crazy concept I know! The screen on the One V measures in at 3.7 inches, uses S-LCD 2 technologies and offers up a 480×800 pixel resolution. It runs with the likes of Android version 4.0, as well as HTC’s Sense 4.0 UI. Processing power will come from a single core 1GHz chipset, 512 MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage and expandable micro SD memory. A 5 mega pixel camera that can record in video in 720p is also available around back of the device.
Two hundred bucks on some of the most affordable plans around folks! Anyone interested? This may be the deal of the century! Oh and yea the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S are now available at Virgin Mobile.
