The Pantech Flex Is Official For Ma’ Bell

Back in mid August At&t and long time partner in crime Pantech made a new device official via the likes of a standard press release. The only problem was the press release was more of a tease about the phone than a window into its sole. Moreover the press release was a moment in the sun where Pantech announced its new partnership with the Dew Tour! The new smart phone was teased as a new device to usher in the partnership with the tour and the manufacturer. As the Team Pantech sponsor as well as an overall sponsor to the games and ironically, now that the games are over, Pantech has just let the cat out of the bag with the new Pantech Flex.

Toward the end of last month the Pantech Flex ironically appeared in an exclusive leak from Engadget showing itself off but with little to no confirmation. What was once known as the Pantech Magnus, the new Pantech Flex is official.  The device starts with a 4.3 inch qHD Super AMOLED touch screen display clocks in at a 540×960 pixel resolution at 256 pixels per inch and will surely give you all the touchy real-estate you’ll need. Internally this new beast runs with Android version 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich. Android will get its go from the likes of a more than capable dual core processor Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 that clocks in at 1.5 GHz. It will come packing 8 GB of built in storage and of course expandable microSDHC memory options up to 32GB. Around back of this amazing design you’ll notice an 8 mega pixel camera with full 1080p HD recording capabilities, auto focus and more embedded. Additional awesomeness comes with the likes of At&t’s 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth version 4.0, Wi-Fi, and micro USB connectivity. The Pantech Flex in all of its awesome glory will be made available to end users starting September 16th at the super low cost of $50 bucks on a new two year contract!
