The LG Optimus LTE III Gets Official
The LG Optimus LTE III is official! Late last month the latest LG Optimus was spotted somewhere in wild South Korea and was expected to make its debut with SK Telecom. As LG pushes out more and more awesome, the Optimus LTE III is apparently set to take on the world. LG’s latest Optimus G Pro has soaked up a lot of attention in the past few weeks as the company’s latest flagship, but it looks as if LG is not quite done with the high end awesomeness and is making the Optimus LTE III official!
Today LG has officially announced the Optimus LTE III. The device was announced in South Korea today and will be heading to the carrier SK Telecom. The launch date is set for March 8th. The LG Optimus LTE III is not to far removed from its previous version the LTE II. It comes in a similar size and uses a 4.7 inch IPS touch screen display that offers up a 1280×720 pixel resolution. According to the details the Optimus LTE III will start with the likes of Android version 4.1.2 aka Jelly bean. It will pack in a more than capable Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon system chip that will provide a dual core 1.5 GHz processor. Additionally the LTE III will offer up an Adreno 225 GPU, 2 GB of RAM and expandable microSD memory up to 32 GB. You can also expect the LTE III to pack in a 2540 mAh battery and all types of connectivity including, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, NFC and much more. The Optimus LTE III also sports an 8 mega pixel camera with full 1080p HD video recording, LED flash as well as a front facing shooter that clocks in a 1.3 mega pixels. The LG Optimus LTE III will be offered up in both black and white flavors.
