The last we heard from the Optimus 4X HD was it was slated for a European tour in the coming months and as of yesterday, it looks like that tour has begun to roll out.
The LG Optimus 4X HD is an amazingly powerful phone with a picture perfect touch screen and super slim build. As LG’s first quad core device it will surely find itself toward the top of most bench marks. The LG Optimus 4X HD made its debut at MWC this year and the anticipation has been growing for its release. The first lucky customer will be residents of Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, Italy, and the United Kingdom. The coming months and weeks will give end users in South and Central America, Asia and CIS. So in case you were wondering, this handset packs in an amazing set of specs. First the Optimus 4X HD measures in at an amazingly thin 8.9 mm sizing and packs in an unbelievable amount of greatness. It starts with the likes of Android 4.0 that is accessible via a 4.7 inch IPS LCD touch screen that provides an HD 720×1280 pixel resolution at 312 pixels per inch. Its huge battery clocks in at 2150 mAh and can pull up to 9 hours of talk time and 30 days of standby, but you won’t get the chance to test that. Internally the power kicks in. Android will get its go from an Nvidia Tegra 3 quad core processor that clocks in at 1.5 GHz. With an additional graphics processor, the computing will get some help by 1GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The Optimus can also handle up to 64 GB of expandable micro SD memory. Around back an 8 mega pixel camera with all kinds of tricks up its sleeve can easily be your day to day shooter. Up front it carries a 1.3 mega pixel camera for your video conferencing needs. Add in the likes of Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, DLNA, MHL and a micro USB connection and this is surely a picture perfect handset.
