The LG Lucid 3 Gets Official with Verizon
The LG Lucid 3 finds its way to the shelves of Big Red Verizon! It is that time of year again where manufacturers team up with carriers to restock their shelves and promote the next best thing in mobile. Just a few days ago LG quietly released the Extravert 2 and Optimus Zone 2 with Big Red and today the roll out continues with another entry to mid range device, known as the Lucid 3. As Verizon and LG gear up for future flagship releases its good to know they are still looking out for the base end user that has no need for super duper smart phones! Everyone let us meet this new Lucid 3 shall we?
The Lucid 3 is the successor to the long line of excellence that is the LG Lucid! The original Lucid was launched back in 2012 and has grown to be a rather successful brand. A year after its introduction into this world the Lucid 2 was born in April of 2013. Fast forward to today and it looks as if the Lucid 3 is right on time! The last time we heard from the next generation Lucid 3 was way back in March where it leaked alongside the Ativ SE as potential forthcoming devices for Verizon. While it looked as if the Ativ SE would never launch, it did and now it is the Lucid’s turn! The Lucid 3 was put on the chopping block today at Big Red and will be offered up for free under the muse of a new two year contract, or only $299 without. The Lucid 3 starts with a 4.7 inch touch screen display that offers up a 960×540 pixel resolution. Internally the handset gets its go from a combination of a highly capable 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and a rather large 2440 mAh battery. Around back of the Lucid 3 is a 5 mega pixel camera, with a VGA quality shooter up front. It also packs in connectivity such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, DLNA and of course LTE!
A rather excellent phone for a pretty affordable price! Any takers? Sound off in the comments section below and let us know what you think and remember all the best in LG accessories are here.
