Sprints New Samsung is Epic 4G

Sprint and Samsung are in the news this morning giving a new name to the seemingly popular Samsung Galaxy S line.  We have seen the Samsung Galaxy tossed around too a few different carriers recently and when arriving, carrying a new name. So let’s meet the newest member of the Galaxy S family the Sprint Samgung Epic 4G.

Sprint and Samsung have launched what could be the best of the best when looking at the Samsung Galaxy S lineup. It’s all in the name; the Epic 4g is carrying a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, which is running the Android operating system 2.1. Sprint has gone on record saying that the Froyo or 2.2 update will be available for the Epic 4G shortly after its release.  The Sprint Epic 4G is sporting a 4″ WVGA Super AMOLED, a full QWERTY keypad,  a 5 mega pixel camera  with 720p capabilities when recording video. The new Sprint Epic 4G also comes equipped with 512MB of RAM and will give you up to 32GB of expandable memory. Other cool features of the new Epic include its WIFI capabilities, a front facing camera, GPS, mobile hotspot functionality that supports up to five different devices.

The Samsung Epic 4G from Sprint is sure to be a winner amongst texters and users that stay socially connected.  With the announcement of this new Samsung Epic on Sprints new 4G network we have officially seen the next 4G phone out of the “first to 4G” camp. The Sprint EVO 4G was the first model sporting the 4G moniker, and is surely to remain the most powerful.
