A Sprint Bound Galaxy Note II Becomes Official
The Samsung Galaxy Note is surely the leader in the phablet market. A long time ago when full touch screen devices were on their rise to prominence the oversized paradigm reared its ugly face to the disappointment of many. The Dell Streak was one of the more notable early entries into the space and unfortunately it did not last too long. That said it did however please a select group of end users that maybe we should be calling “trend setters” now? Since then the world has moved forward and smart phone screen sizes just keep getting larger. The one standout however and the device that redefined the sector is the Samsung Galaxy Note and its now on its second generation and luckily for Sprint customers the device will be on sale in just a few days.
The Galaxy Note II made its international debut just a few weeks ago toward the end of last month. Its announcement confirmed its future existence on America’s top carriers and that statement is coming into fruition. Sprint has been on a launching spree with devices like the LG Optimus G, the Galaxy Victory 4G and the Photon 4G and by the looks of it the Galaxy Note II will make the carriers available line up just that stronger moving into the holiday season. The Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II will as expected come with 4G LTE connectivity and a price point that just a bit more than the standard smart phone. Priced at $299.99 under a new two year contract the Samsung Galaxy Note II will be made available October 25th! Anyone interested? A supersized smart phone with industry leading specs is on the way! The Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note starts of course with a super large 5.55 inch Super AMOLED touch screen that provides a 720×1280 pixel resolution at 265 pixels per inch. Running the latest in Android version 4.1, you can expect a snappy and super smooth user interface with Samsungs infamous UI and a more than capable Samsung Exynos 4412 quad-core 1.6 GHz ARM Cortex-A9 chipset. Helping in the graphics department is an ARM Mali-400 MP4 GPU, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage and expandable microSD, microSDHC or microSDXC memory up to 64 GB. Oh and don’t worry about power, a 3100 mAh battery is holding this house together. Around back of this new beautifully large handset is an 8 mega pixel camera with LED flash a slew of camera tricks and full 1080p HD video recording at 30 frames per second. A front facing camera is present and measures in with a 1.9 megapixel sensor. But wait there’s more. Add in A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Hotspot, microUSB 2.0, HDMI via microUSB, DLNA, MHL and NFC.
Also known as the Samsung SPH-L900, the Galaxy Note II will be available with the Now Network come the 25th. Anyone interested? Sound off in the comments below and let us know what you think of this awesome new phablet. Oh and remember the very best in Samsung accessories are here.

299.95 ? Last I heard was 199.95. I have been waiting for this phone but will not spring for 30% addition price. Will wait and see what other carriers will want for it.
