A Sprint Galaxy Nexus 4G LTE To Land Between April 15th and 22nd?
The Now Network has been on a hot streak lately pumping out new devices and perpetuating their movement from Wimax 4G to a superior LTE 4G build. With the announcements of their LTE plans, the next step in the movement is surely phones right? Well of course. The first few phones that will be Sprint LTE capable will be the LG Viper 4G LTE, which has been up for pre order since April 12th and the next variation to the legendary EVO line the HTC EVO 4G LTE. But there is also an additional contender to the Sprint’s new LTE line up that is already quite a hit amongst smart phone users. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus LTE 4G, is a prized possession amongst those in the know and it will soon be making an appearance on the Now Network.
Back in January Sprint branded Galaxy Nexus LTE clickable advertisements starting popping up around the internet, this ultimately giving hope for end users who were tied to sprint looking for the Verizon only Galaxy Nexus. Shortly after the Nexus leak Sprint LTE 4G networks build out information started hitting the interwebs. Since then the yellow branded Galaxy Nexus LTE has been popping up all over the place and now a near definitive date has been reached. Following a set of leaky internal Sprint documents, the Galaxy Nexus was to begin being promoted in store come April 15th while other detailed leaks of internal documentation stated the “Nexus will arrive in stores by April 22nd”. While I’m not a betting man, it does indeed seem as if Sprint will be advertising for a few days and then ultimately making the phone available on the 22nd. With the launch of this legendary handset into the hands of Sprint, your upgrade choice just got a lot harder. While it may not be an EVO 4G LTE the Galaxy Nexus is a rock in which the Android world stands upon. The Galaxy Nexus uses a large 4.65 inch Super AMOLED touch screen that provides a 720p resolution at 316 pixels per inch! It comes packing a dual core 1.2 GHz TI OMAP 4460 processor that is backed by a graphics processor and 1 GB of RAM. Both 16GB and 32GB options of the Galaxy Nexus have been confirmed. Around back the Nexus packs in a 5 mega pixel camera that can record video in full 1080p HD. You can also expect the likes of Bluetooth version 3.0, WI-Fi 802.11 b, g, n, a, micro USB sync and charging as well as the likes of NFC and MHL connectivity.
Quite possibly the best Android phone to date is making its way to Sprint, are you excited? But which would you rather give a home in your pocket, the Nexus, the Viper or the EVO 4G LTE? Also keep in mind that Sprint was just caught with a unbranded picture of the Galaxy Note on their website. Sound off in the comments and let us know which device you’re shooting for.
