Sprints Epic 4G avalible August 31st
One of the last loners in the Samsung Galaxy S line up that hit the states has finally gotten a release date and price tag. Samsung in their quest for smart phone dominance has released the Galaxy line unto the world. Samsung brought four different Galaxy S phones to the states, one per major carrier. T-Mobile has released the Vibrant, At&T the Captivate and Verizon is cooking up the unreleased Fascinate. Sprints version which is different from all the others is on its way.
Today I received a premier customer email from Sprint, letting me know that I can “reserve” an Epic 4g. The top line of the email says, “Premier Customers get to reserve the Epic 4G before the crowds” the email then goes on to explain the details of the Epic 4G. The email states that the Epic 4G will be available for purchase on 8/31 and will run me about $250.00. This is after a 150 instant savings and then an additional 100 mail in rebate. So $350 out of your pocket the day you try to pick one up. Sound worth it? The Epic 4G’s specs were released a few days ago, let’s refresh. The Epic is the one and only Samsung Galaxy with a full QWERTY keyboard, the Epic runs a Samsung 1 GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird Processor, has a 4 inch Super AMOLED touch screen, a 5MP camera with LED, 720p video recording capabilities, a front facing VGA camera and other standard issued features like, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. So if you’re a Sprint customer looking to upgrade or a smart phone shopper weighing your options, the question that inevitably will come up, is EVO or Epic? Both 4G compatible, both excellent devices, but Sprint has made this video to help you along your decision process.
