Reservations full for Sprints Epic 4G
A few days ago Sprint launched some pre ordering information about the new Sprint Epic 4G. The information allowed premier customers to essentially get their pre-order on and place a reservation on the second 4G phone to hit the company’s towers.
Well good news for Sprint and bad news for those that wanted to get on the list. Looking at Sprints website today it shows that the reservation window has been closed, for now at least. The Epic 4G will be made available on August 31st and it looks like there is a demand for this full QWERTY 4G slider. The details from Sprints site state “Early reservations are full, but sign up today and we’ll send you a ready-to-buy reminder”. The Epic 4G is one fourth of the Samsung Galaxy S line up that has recently invaded America and is surely impressive to say the least. So it looks like if you were considering picking one up on the 31st, be sure to call ahead as availability may be an issue with this first full QWERTY 4G phone. The dynamic of an Android super phone with a full keypad is stuff legend is made of as there are millions of users that NEED their keypads. But the specs make this a device that will be well worth a wait. The Epic runs a Samsung 1 GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird Processor, has a 4 inch super AMOLED touch screen, a 5MP camera with 720p recording capabilities and a front facing camera for web conferencing. The new 4G monster slider carries a 250 price tag after rebates and contracts.
