Samsungs reveals Galaxy Tab Specs
Ahh the Samsung Galaxy Tab. The amazingly hyped and highly anticipated Galaxy Tab is officially making its way into the battle dome. In the past few months, rumors, leaks and speculation have been making the most of us scream in frustration about how badly we want the official details for the Galaxy Tab. We’ll folks if you have been screaming along with us, the time has come. Well at least for the details anyway..some of them.
The rumors and speculation on the Samsung Galaxy Tab started around June, with pictures of the tab surfacing. Well the rumors and speculation end now, as Samsung has made the Galaxy Tab official. The Samsung Galaxy Tab will run Android OS version 2.2 aka Froyo, the Tab packs a 1GHz Cortex A8 processor, a 7” TFT-LCD display, a 4,000 mAh battery, 3MP rear facing camera, with a 1.3 front facing camera for video conferencing, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, DLNA, quad-band GSM, microSD slot that will support up to 32GB, full HD playback at 1080p all weighing in at 13.4 ounces and a partridge in a pear tree.
Now this is a lot to take in all at once so, I will let you know now, once it settles in you will not have to read it again, it does say 3MP camera, the only real complaint. But granted you may be hard pressed to find someone using the device as a “digital camera”. While there is still no word on the pricing, the information within the release from Samsung goes on to state that the Galaxy Tab will be made available in Europe in mid September, and in other markets including the US in the coming months.
