The new Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 makes its way through the approval halls of the FCC! The Galaxy Note series of handsets are sort of a blast to the past, a successful conundrum that has stirred the mobile gadget pot quite vigorously. The Note devices started as amazingly oversized smart phone that due to its sheer size was not poised to do so well. As Samsung has just announced their third generation phone and second generation Note tablet, it looks as if the Note has beaten the odds! Last week Samsung took the wraps off their highly anticipated Note 3 and almost as an afterthought, the Note 10.1 2014 was also born.

The recent announcement of Samsung’s Note 3 and Galaxy Gear came along side one, ‘Oh yea, we also have this Note 10.1 2014 as well’. The Note 10.1 2014 was announced last week alongside the Note 3 and Galaxy Gear. His morning however the new Note tablet has been officially spotted making its way through the halls of the FCC getting its approval for sale stateside. The new Note tablet as you would expect uses a 10.1 inch Super Clear LCD touch screen that offers up a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution at 299 pixels per inch. Said screen gives its end users access to Android version 4.3 and Samsung’s legendary TouchWix UI. Internally the Note 10.1 has an 8220 mAh battery that powers a Snapdragon 800 quad core 2.3 GHz processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage and expandable micro SD memory options up to 64 GB. Around back the new Note has an 8 mega pixel camera with full HD video recording as well as a 2 mega pixel front facing shooter. It also packs in connectivity like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Hotspot, USB 2.0 and a touch of MHL. While there is no exact time frame for launch, the new Note 10.1 2014 should begin to hit store shelves somewhere in Q3 of this year.
