Samsung announces the Note 4!

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is officially unveiled! The Galaxy Note 3 was announced last year too much anticipation and fan fare. Fast forward a year later almost to the day and Samsung has announced the Note 4 and the Note 4 Edge! The next generation Note is always a spectacle in smart phone excellence as what Samsung does with the device is usually setting the standard for over sized, stylus included smart phones. This year the Note takes on a more premium build and is also offered up with a slightly wrapped around screen!

The original Note was launched back in 2011 and was partly ridiculed for its plastic build and seemingly inferior build quality when compared to the likes of HTC and Apple. This however was a popular grip about most all Samsung devices at the time. Recently the Galaxy Alpha changed the build quality on Samsung’s flagship devices and that premium build has found its way into the Note 4 as well. The Note 4 starts with a 5.7 inch touch screen display that is built into an aluminum housing and finally brings that first class feeling to the Note series. The screen offers up a 1440×2560 resolution at 515 pixels per inch and uses Super AMOLED technologies to get its pixels across! Internally the handset runs with a Samsung made Exynos 5433 system chip that rocks an 8 core processor that clocks in at 1.9 GHz. Additionally the Note 4 sports a ARM Mali-T760 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage and expandable micro SD memory options up to 64GB. Around back of the Note 4 we’ll find a 16 mega pixel camera with a dual LED flash and video recording capable of 4K at 30fps or 1080p HD at 60 fps. Up front the Note 4 sports a 3.7 mega pixel sensor for all your selfie needs. Powering this show and keeping the Note 4 connected is a combination of a 3220 mAh battery, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, micro USB 2.0, MHL, DLNA and NFC. The Note 4 will be offered up in white, black, gold or Pink and will be put on sale starting in October. A price point has not been set on the device yet and will likely vary depending on location, but is not expected to be much more than last year’s Note 3.
