Its origins thick in saint’s, love and myth have transformed over the years into another day for manufacturers and retailers to capitalize. This year however a new set of Samsung phones will be reaching store shelves in festive colors and designs.
The 2013 La Fleur edition Samsung devices have been slowly leaking out through the end of last month and starting as early as November. Samsung has now made the handsets official. While we couldn’t tell you the origin of the name, it’s essentially a label stamped on by Samsung that simply represents light colors and floral patterns. La Fleur edition Samsung phone have however been produced since 2009. The smart phones are surely a simple way to repackage the current lineup, but definitely an easy gift idea for those romantically disinclined. The variety of the phones run a pretty wide gambit, however keep in mind Samsung has only announced the models for Russia. While there is no release information for any country outside of Russia, the La Fleur’ed smart phones are expected to hit shelves today, February 1st. Samsung will be offering the limited edition paint schemes for the Galaxy S III which will be offered in both red and white colorings, as well as the Galaxy S III Mini, The Galaxy Ace 2, the Galaxy Ace Duos, as well as the Galaxy S Duos. Early leaks showed the company had plans on launching La Fleur edition devices on the lower end of the market as well; including the F480, D980, Wave Y, C3322 and C3520, unfortunately however according to hi-tech.mail.ru the Korean smartphone maker has “abandon conventional phones in this range”. Probably a good idea, the price on the La Fleur handsets will not change and stay relatively the same. The Galaxy S III variation should cost you about 22 990 rubles.
