Another Galaxy: The Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE is Made Official for the Now Network

So many galaxies, so little time. Samsung has really taken a liking to this whole Galaxy line up of phones. Since the brands inception it seems like there has been a new Galaxy announced weekly. With a Samsung Galaxy for pretty much every level of phone Samsung is really pushing the limits of how much a particular brand can do without becoming oversaturated. Today a new Samsung Galaxy has been made official under the Sprint moniker and it looks to please the middle of the road smart phone buyers, who don’t need a flagship but still want the smart phone functionality and the new Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE seems to provide just that.

The Samsung Victory 4G LTE shares similar specs with the more recently announced Galaxy Stellar that was launched on Verizon. Earlier this month the Victory 4G LTE was found leaking details over at AndroidCentral and it didn’t take long before it became a reality. Sprint announced the Victory 4G LTE yesterday making the affordable handset official and obtainable on September 16th. The Galaxy Victory 4G LTE will cost about $100 bucks on a new contract and after a $50 dollar mail in rebate. But what can or should you expect from a one hundred dollar Galaxy? Well to put it simply, a solid smart phone with everything an average user would need! The Victory 4G LTE starts with the likes of Android version 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich with no word on a future upgrade to the latest version 4.1. From their your greasy finger tips will have full control over the operating system with a 4 inch WVGA quality touch screen that clocks in an 800×480 pixel resolution. Internally this excellent new handset will get its computational go from a 1.2 GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 SMS8960 Lite SoC chipset. Backing that up you’ll find 1 GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and a dedicated graphics processor. Expandable microSDHC memory up to 32 GB is also an available option. Around back of this new budget friendly smart phone is a highly capable 5 mega pixel camera that hosts a slew of features including video recording, auto focus and geo tagging. Up front a 1.3 mega pixel shooter is available for all your video conferencing needs. Additional connectivity will be supplied by the likes of Bluetooth version 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a, b, g, n, micro USB 2.0 and NFC. Also known as the Samsung SPH-L300 and the Samsung Gogh, this awesome little phone is surely ushering in the age of the smart phone.
