Samsung Confirms the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 8.0 and 10.1

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1Samsung has up and confirmed the Galaxy Tab 4 leaving your new Galaxy Tab 3 dated and old! Samsung is not one to hold back their new wares. Usually when a Samsung product leaks out into the wild it is only a short time before it arrives in some official capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 fits the bill and has been made official by Samsung! If you’re just getting to know one of the many variations of the Galaxy Tab 3 the fact that the Tab 4 is around the corner may be a bit daunting. But don’t worry this new set of tablets is not be leaps and bounds ahead of the current gen and will likely not see the light of day for a few more weeks!

Early in the cold days of February rumors and speculation began rising around the next generation Galaxy Tablets. Information about the tablets has appeared in the Twitter feed of the notorious Evleaks, has shown up in internal Samsung documents and was even un-officially made official when a variation of the Tab 4 passed through the halls of the FCC. Today however, Samsung has squashed the rumor by officially acknowledging and announcing not one, but three new lower end Tab 4 models. Samsung has announced the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 and the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. The devices pictured look a bit more like the recently launched Galaxy Tab Pro series of tablets as they are made to be thin and sleek. Unfortunately however these three new tablets do not share the Tab Pro internals. All three of these new tablets will come equipped with a 1.2 GHz quad core CPU, 1.5 GB of RAM, 16 GB of memory, expandable micro SD memory, a 1280×800 touch screen, a 3 mega pixel rear facing camera with a 1.3 megapixel front facing shooter. Lastly these new Tabs will be running the likes of Android version 4.4. The tablets are said to be available starting this quarter and if they are priced anything like the Tab 3’s expect them to be priced around $300 bucks!
