The Samsung Galaxy S III Coming To America’s Top Five Carriers
The Samsung Galaxy S III is on its way to the American carriers and just like that the ante has been upped. The Samsung Galaxy S III is the latest in Galaxy S devices and is surely the best to date. The Galaxy S III was officially announced early last month to much fan fare. The device launched within some European continents recently and now it looks as if the promise of American based GSIII is coming true! This morning Samsung made this announcement official with a press release letting the world know that the “Samsung Galaxy S III Coming To Five Major Carriers”.
Samsung let the cat out of the bag this morning by announcing “an industry first, Samsung delivers the same iconic smart phone design and premium content sharing experience with customized At&t, Sprint, T-mobile, Verizon Wireless and U.S. Cellular services starting from $199.” The Galaxy S III will show up on all of these carriers within the next few weeks and be offered in the pebble blue or marble white colors. Since the Samsung announcement most carriers have already hit the publish button on their own version allowing for pre-orders and or making the device official one way or the other. Sprint has gone on record stating their version of the Galaxy S III will arrive on June 21st and be available for preorder starting June 5th. Sprints version is also to come packing Google Wallet. U.S. Cellular will be opening its pre-orders starting June 12th with availability scheduled for July. T-Mobile will also launch their Galaxy S III on June 21st with no mention of pre-orders. At&t currently has a added a preview page for the device but have yet to confirm release dates. Verizon will be taking pre orders on the device starting June 6th and most likely putting the handset on sale around or on the 21st. So what can we expect from the American version of the GSIII? Well, excellence of course. The new Galaxy S III due to most likely LTE compatibility will unfortunately no run with the highly revered Exynos Quad core processor, but will be replaced with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 1.5 GHz dual core chip set and 2GB of RAM! Outside of these small differences the original details will follow the GSIII into its American endeavors. Its screen is a 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED touch screen provides a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution and looks that it will stay the course across all carriers. Around back an 8 mega pixel camera will have all kinds of amazing abilities including 1920x1080p video recording at 30 frames per second. A 1.9 front facing shooter will also be ready for all your video conferencing needs. The Galaxy S III runs with the very latest in Android version 4.0 as well as the latest in TouchWiz over the top. With some amazing specs and a beautiful build the Galaxy S III is sure to make some waves. Add in all the new features from Samsung’s Touch Wiz including Smart Stay, S-Voice and S-Beam the GSIII will surely be a contender priced at only $199 on new contract.
