Samsungs Latest Galaxy Note 8.0 Set to Hit US Shores April 11th
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is set to arrive stateside on April 11th! Good news everyone, Samsung is making their Note 8.0 a reality! The Samsung Note has been through a few different variations. Starting with the original smart phone version and slowly moving up the ranks into a 10.1 inch variation, on to a new smart phone and now a new 8 inch Note is making its way to the market place and will draw its line in the sand somewhere between tablet and smart phone. Initial rumors, leaks and details of the Note 8.0 started to surface to the top of the interwebs back in December of last year and since then, details about the device just could not stop. Luckily the time has come; the Note 8.0 is ready for consumption.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 was announced back in February and ultimately made its first official appearance earlier this month when it was launched in the UK on April 5th. Luckily the Note 8.0 is also about to be available stateside. Samsung has announced that the long awaited Note 8.0 will be put on sale come April 11th. The tablet, will start at $400 bucks for the Wi-Fi version only and pack in 16 GB of storage at that price. While many will view this price point a bit too high when compared to the likes of Apple’s iPad mini, let’s take a look at what the Note 8.0 is offering. The Note 8.0 starts with the likes of Android version 4.1.2 and gives its user access to the operating system with its 8 inch 1280×800 TFT touch screen that clocks 189 pixels per inch. It packs in a 4600 mAh battery, a quad core 1.6 GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor, GPU, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage with expandable microSD memory options up to 64 GB. Around back it houses a 5 mega pixel camera with 1080p HD video capabilities as well as a 1.3 mega pixel front facing shooter. Additional connectivity can be had with its GPS, Glonass, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi. April 11th is the day, while no retailers or carriers have claimed the Note 8.0 yet it may be safe to assume certain carriers will offer the tablet at a subsidized price.
