Samsung Announces the Dual SIM Galaxy Core
Samsung announces the dual SIM and highly affordable Galaxy Core. It’s no secret Samsung is on a mission from the tech gods to produce as many awesome mobile devices that they can. Most recently, Samsung, seemingly out of nowhere announced their first variation of the Galaxy Tab 3 in a 7 inch form, have launched their S4 and currently rumors of the Note III are circulating the interwebs. Today however brings us a new Samsung device and while flagship it is not the Samsung Galaxy Core is looking to offer up dual SIM functionality at low price points.
While we are all rather familiar with the Galaxy S, Note and Tab series devices it is the smaller, mid range devices that keep Samsung atop of the smart phone market around the world. Today, Samsung is introducing a new mid range smart phone into the gadget arena, known as the Galaxy Core this dual SIM device is ready for takeoff. So what can we expect? Well, let’s take a gander shall we. Firstly, the Galaxy Core looks to be a truncated variation of the Galaxy S III, sharing the same overall design equipped with the physical home button and adjacent navigation keys. Internally the Galaxy Core is set to run with a 1.2 GHz dual core processor that is backed by 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory and expandable micro SD memory. It starts with a 4.3 inch WVGA TFT LCD touch screen that will give its users access to Android version 4.1.Additionally, the Core comes with a 5 mega pixel camera with LED flash as well as a VGA quality front facing shooter. You can also expect Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro USB, GPS, and an 1800 mAh battery. The Core also comes equipped with an accelerometer, a digital compass, and optional dual SIM functionality.
