Samsung Announces the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 3 8.0
Samsung makes their Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 official! Recently news of a few unannounced but highly expected, Samsung devices have surfaced to the top of the headlines. As the company gears up for a few new variations of the Galaxy S4 they are making the highly speculated Tab 3 10.1 and Tab 3 8.0 device official! Leaky details of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 leaked out shortly after the company announced the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0. With the news of the the 8 inch tab also came with some speculation surrounding the companies Tab 3 10.0. Today Samsung put an end to the rumor and speculation by announcing both the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 and Galaxy Tab 3 10.1.
The cat’s are officially out of the bag as Samsung has taken to the keyboard and published the official announcement for the two new tablets. Firstly, both of the new tablets from Samsung will be running with Android version 4.2 Jelly Bean. The 10.1 variation is touted as the tablet that is “built to be the leading 10-inch tablet in the market” unfortunately its spec sheet is being scrutinized as it has more of a mid range feel. The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 will make its way into this world with a 10.1 inch touch screen display that offers up a 1280×800 pixel resolution at a mere 145 pixels per inch. The Tab 3 10.1 sports a 7.95 mm thin build and somehow packs in a 6800 mAh battery. Internally the new tablet is expected to rock a dual core 1.6 GHz processor, an unnamed GPU, 1 GB of Ram, 16 GB or 32 GB of built in storage and expandable microSD memory options up to 64 GB. Around back, the tablet has a 3.2 mega pixel camera that can offer up 720p HD video recording while a 1.3 mega pixel shooter can be found up front. We can also expect the tablet to come with GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, and a micro USB connection for sync and charging. The Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 was also announced and set to come into this world with a ‘one hand design’ that offers up an 8 inch touch screen display that also uses a 1280×800 pixel resolution. The Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 uses a 1.5 Ghz dual core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 16 or 32 GB of internal storage, expandable microSD memory options and a 4450 mAh battery. Additionally you can expect a 5 mega pixel rear facing camera as well as a 1.3 front facing shooter. Both of Samsung’s new tablets will be 4G LTE ready and are expected to launch in the coming weeks. While price points have not been announced Samsung has stated the two new flavors of GTab will become available in the “beginning of June”.
