Pre-Orders for the Samsung Galaxy S4 Open for Most all Major US Carriers
The Samsung Galaxy S 4 gets set for launch on all major US carriers. The latest and greatest in Galaxy was announced back in mid march in New York City to much fan fare. The device with all its new features and build is set to take over the world! But where and when can you get your mitts on the new, soon to be legendary Galaxy S 4? Since its launch we have all known that no major carrier would miss the chance to peddle this amazing new device, as it was announced that all major carriers would indeed stock the handset. Now the only question left is what networks will your Galaxy S 4 roam?
The Samsung Galaxy S 4 is an awesome new and powerful handset that is sure to dominate the smart phone arena at least until next year, when the likes of the S5 emerge. Earlier this week At&t and US Cellular announced ship dates and opened their doors for pre-orders. April 17th opened the flood gates for preorders while both carriers will begin shipping the S4 come April 30th. So what’s the cost? Well both carriers will be offering the S4 for $200 bucks under the veil of a new two year contract. Sprint, the yellow clad now network have opened the doors to pre-orders today and will launch the handset on April 27th. Unfortunately, for anyone not leaving their old carrier for the yellow network will need to pony up a whopping $250 plus taxes and a new two year contract…pricey. Sprint is however currently offering defectors of other carriers that come to the company with their existing number in hand a price point of $150 with contract of course. The magenta clad, ‘reinvented’ T-Mobile will begin to offer the handset online starting April 24th and in stores starting on May 1st. Under the company’s new plans the device will cost you about $150 up front and come with twenty four months of $20 dollar payments. The last hold out on release dates is big red Verizon. The company has not announced release or price points on the new S4, but one could safely expect a release date a price point within the realms of its competitors. The Galaxy S4 in case you have been living under a rock is a solid new device with a 5 inch 1080×1920 touch screen that runs Androids latest version 4.2.2, a 2600 mAh battery, a quad core processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage and expandable micro SD options with a 13 mega pixel camera.
