The Pantech Vega Iron Set for Announcment April 18th
The Pantech Vega Iron to finally do away with those worthless bezels! A bezel is the thin strip of useless space that surrounds the screens in your life. Most all devices that offer up a screen of some sort have a bezel. In most cases this bezel is a waste of space. Recently the Blackberry Z10 has made use of the bezel as it is a functional part of the devices operating system which is awesome. Either make the bezel functional, or do away with it! The Pantech Vega Iron looks to remove the wasteful space from their latest flagship smart phone.
Late last week Pantech’s latest handset of awesomeness the Vega Iron emerged into the lime light. The device while unannounced and un-official may be bringing something most smart phone enthusiasts have dreamed of. The lack of bezel! A leaky press shot of the handset gives it an announcement date of 4.18.2013. According to Ruliweb the new Pantech device will position itself in the high end of the market place and will be set to compete with LG’s Optimus G Pro and Samsung’s latest Galaxy S 4. The new Vega Iron is said to come packing the latest in Android version 4.1.2 and pack in a 5 inch 1920×1080 touch screen built into an amazingly thin 8.8mm body. Additional details surrounding the new handset give it 4G LTE connectivity as well as NFC powers. Internally we are to expect a more than capable quad core 1.7 GHz Qualcomm made Snapdragon 600 processor, 2 GB of Ram and an all day battery that offers up 2150 mAh. Around back of its super thin build a 13 mega pixel camera is said to reside. The new Vega Iron measures in at 136.3 x 67.7 x 8.8mm and weighs in at a mere 154 grams, which makes it slightly smaller than its competitors. Additional details sourced by vegaviet.com show rumored press shots of the new Vega and point to it having expandable micro SD card support, Wi-Fi ac, and an aluminum frame. While there is no word on where and when this new handset will be launched, it is expected to be announced on April 18th and its potential outside of South Korea has yet to be determined.
