The Nokia Lumia 822 Windows Phone 8 Becomes Official With Big Red



Have you heard of the latest Microsoft revolution with Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8? Microsoft has been on the road to reinventing themselves in the past few years and its seems as if all their hard work is finally going to pay off, with the launch of their new desktop operating system Windows 8 and the soon to be everywhere Windows Phone 8. A few years back in 2010, Microsoft took leaps and bounds to reinvent their mobile operating system. The outcome of their efforts supplied the world with the Windows Phone OS. Since the Windows Phone inception many people are found loving the OS found on some excellent hardware made by the likes of Samsung, HTC, Nokia and many more.

The latest in awesome has come into the light from Nokia and will be making its merry Windows Phone 8 way to the ranks of Verizon Wireless. Nokia and Microsoft have teamed up again to introduce a few new Lumia‚Äôs. The Nokia Lumia 820 first starting surfacing earlier this month shortly after the Lumia 810 made itself official on T-Mobile. Once known as the Atlas, the Nokia Lumia 822 has become official with Verizon. The Lumia 822 starts with a an awesome AMOLED touch screen size that measures in at 4.3 inches and offers up a 480×800 pixel resolution at 217 pixels per inch. Internally she runs with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960, Dual Core 1.5 GHz processor, an Adreno 225 graphics processor, with 8 GB of storage and expandable microSDHC memory up to 64 GB. Around back you can expect an 8 mega pixel camera with dual LED flash, and a whole slew of camera tricks including full 1080p HD video recording at 30 frames per second. An additional front facing 1.2 mega pixel camera is also available. As this is a Verizon device you can expect 4G LTE connectivity along with GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and NFC. The Lumia 822 will be made available in the fall and will cost you a mere $100 bucks on a new two year contract.
