Motorola’s Moto G Comes State Side December 2nd
Motorola’s Moto G goes up for sale stateside! If you didn’t know, Motorola and Google are now one. The two companies came together in a recent, historic buy out. The first device to make it to the big screen from the new Google owned company was the Moto X. The Moto X is an amazing handset that brings a host of hardware customization and a new twist on what Android is capable of. While the Moto X is currently soaking up the sun and providing an awesome Android experience to countless end users Motorola is busy making waves with the X’s little brother, the Moto G!
Earlier this month Motorola confirmed the existence of the Moto G and further confirmed its official announcement date for the 13th. That faithful day has come and gone launching the mid range Motor G across the globe. The announcement was presented to the world at an event in London and gave the Moto G a launch window all around the world, and pushed for an ‘after Christmas release’ here state side. Initially after the announcement, we here thought to ourselves, why wait until after the busiest shopping days of the year? Today, some new details suggest GooMoto may have thought the same thing. The GSM based Moto G is currently up for sale here stateside and will work with carriers like At&t and T-Mobile. The CDMA also known as the Sprint and Verizon versions of the device will not launch until early next year as initially projected. The Moto G is currently offered up in a “Global GSM” and a “US GSM” model and will run you about $179 bucks for an 8 GB variation and $200 bucks for 16 GB. Keep in mind folks; these are unlocked and unsubsidized price tags. The Moto G will begin shipping on December 2nd and will surely make an awesome gift for someone in need of a new smart phone (me).
