The Motorola Razr V Ready for The Bell

The Motorola Razr, simply put could never die! The original Motorola Razr made its way into the phone market in 2004 as one of the thinnest most advanced phones on the market. But boy, have times changed. The RAZR is now droided out and slowly becoming the successful handset its predecessor was. The original Razr became a staple mobile phone as it eventually came in many different variations for all different walks of life. The newest Droid Razr hit the market just recently in 2011, and has had its fair share of variation as well. The latest is the Motorola Razr V.

Back in June the Motorola Razr V was shown off as headed to the Chinese market.  A bit of news toward the end of last week however, brought the Razr V to Canada’s Bell carrier into the news. But what can you expect from this new Droid Razr V? Well, in a word, awesome-ness packed and wrapped in an awesome tidy little package. So, where do we start? The new Motorola Razr V runs with the latest in Android version 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich. It comes with HSPA+ connectivity that can potentially pull up to 14.4 Mbps in download speeds and of course Wi-Fi connectivity. Its screen measures in at 4.3 inches and offers a qHD 960×540 pixel resolution with a ColorBoost screen. Internally the Razr V will run with a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory and expandable microSDHC memory options up to 32 GB. Around back the new V comes with an 8 mega pixel camera that can record video in 1080p HD. Up front a VGA quality camera can be seen eyeing you! That will surely change throughout Videotron, Virgin Mobile and Wind Mobile carriers, but Ma’ Bell customers in Canada can expect this awesome phone to run them about $30 bucks on a new 3 year contract, or $400 up front without a contract.
