Motorola’s Atrix confirmed for release on February 22nd
The Motorola Atrix is on its way folks, strap in and get ready. The Atrix made its amazing debut at CES pretty much stealing the show for Motorola. However, just as all the other cool gadgets Moto showed off no one really knew when they would launch. The Bionic, the Atrix and the Xoom are all much anticipated but when! Today via a friendly tweet we hear that the dual core monster Atrix will be available in the next few days, five of them to be exact.
The Atrix if you are unfamiliar is an amazing little device that has the ability to dock to a few different accessories that turn a standard smart phone into a multimedia device of the future. According to a blogger relations employee for AT&T Seth Bloom posted on his Twitter account that “We’ll beat our target timing. Atrix 4G in-store sales begin 2/22. Existing pre-orders will be shipped for delivery on 2/21”. This tweet came in today and as there is no official rebuttal from At&t we can assume this is legit. So save your duckets as this Atrix and all its accessories is not cheap. But well worth it if you in the market for pure mobile awesomeness. Just in case you missed what defines awesomeness, check out the Atrix specs. The Atrix runs Android OS version 2.2 and has a dual core Tegra 2 processor that runs a 1 GHz. The Atrix 4G has 1GB of RAM a 4 inch capacitive touch screen display with a 540 x 960 pixel resolution. Motorola’s Atrix 4g has expandable memory up to 32 GB with micro SD card slot which comes preinstalled with a 16GB card. The Atrix 4G also has a pretty cool finger print recognition scanner built in on the back. With a large 1930 mAh and measurements of 2.5 x 4.6 x 0.4 inches the Atrix weighs in at 4.8 ounces. Add in all its extras, this Atrix 4G is surely a winner and will be made available on February 22nd.
If your planning on picking an Atrix up, well plan to bring some cash, as it’s a bit pricey but well worth it if you down. Are you picking up an Atrix 4G? Let us know in the comments.4G, release, motorola, atrix
