The LG X3 to be the First Quad Core Mobile ?

From the low and mid range to the super high end and even a bit for the Prada induced fashion-ista, LG has been playing all positions in the field lately. And what more could you expect from one of the best handset manufacturers around. In the past few days PocketNow has exposed some of LG’s future phones and impressive surely sounds like an understatement at this point. In a world of tech dominated by Moore’s law it looks like quad core based mobile processors will run wild this epic new year of 2012.

As the mobile worlds next great conference MWC, is nearing the future of LG’s lineup is seemingly getting a bit leaky. Alongside the leak of the LG CX2 aka, Optimus 3D 2, it seems that the LG X3 is showing face as well. The LG X3 may turn out to be the first readily available quad core based smart phone. While details on this new super phone are indeed speculative / rumored at this point it all adds up pretty neatly under the LG moniker. The LG X3’s screen is said to measure in at 4.7 inches and carry with it a 1280×720 pixel resolution.  Around back sits a perfect 8 mega pixel camera that can surely record video in full HD. Up front a 1.3 mega pixel shooter carries the video conferencing quota. Internally this new LG super phone is said to carry the latest in processing from a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 CPU. Internally it is said to give up 16 GB of memory with expandable microSD capabilities. The X3 is said to be able to pull down HSPA data speeds at 21Mbps with a LTE potential in tow. You can also expect standards like Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, the latest in Bluetooth version 4.0, a super huge 2000 mAh battery and NFC technologies. With all this excellence packed into one phone it may be ahrd to belive that the X3 is said to measure in at less than 9 mm in depth. The X3 is expected to be available sometime during “late spring or early summer” but is not expected to debut with the X3 naming. Look forward to an official debut at Mobile World Congress next month.
