LG Announces the L Series III Devices with the L40, L70 and L90 Handsets
LG adds three new devices to their L series of handsets! LG has been on a role for the last few months pumping out some rather awesome handsets and tablets. The company recently launched the G Pro 2 the G2, the G Flex, the Nexus 5 and many others. Most recently however LG announced the forth coming G Pro 2, while shortly before its official announcement we are graced with the likes of the LG L1 Tri for Brazil. Today a new set of LG devices are ready to bring the L series of smart phones into their next generation! LG has announced the L40, L70 and L90 handsets; let’s take a look at them shall we?
The L series of smart phones from LG once graced the Optimus name sake, however it seems as if the company is dropping the Optimus branding wherever they can, as this third generation of device is simply called the L III Series. This morning the company announced three handsets from the new L Series III. First up, is the LG L40. The L40 starts with a 3.5 inch touch screen that provides a 480×320 pixel resolution at 165 pixels per inch. Internally the L40 is to ship with a highly capable dual core 1.2 Ghz processor, internal GPU, 512 MB of Ram, 4 GB of storage and expandable micro SD memory up to 32 GB. Additionally the L40 comes with a 3 mega pixel camera, a 1700 mAh battery, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and micro USB connectivity.
Moving up the line we meet the LG L70 which is a slight step up in the right direction. The L70 starts with a 4.5 inch touch screen that offers up a 400×800 pixel resolution at 199 pixels per inch. Internally the handset comes rocking a dual core 1.2 GHz processor, unnamed GPU, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of storage and expandable micro SD memory up to 32 GB. Around back of the L70 you’ll find an 8 mega pixel camera with video recording capabilities while a front facing VGA quality camera can be found up front. The L70 also houses connectivity such as 4G, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-fi, and micro USB.
Lastly, the LG L90 rounds out the new L Series III devices. The L90 comes with a 4.7 inch IPS LCD touch screen that offers up a 540×960 pixel resolution at 234 pixels per inch. Internally we can expect a quad core 1.2 GHz processor, unnamed GPU, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage and of course expandable micro SD memory options up to 32 GB. The L90 comes with an 8 mega pixel rear facing camera with a 1.3 mega pixel camera up front. Additional connectivity for the L90 can be had with the likes of 4G HSDPA+, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, micro USB and a highly capable 2540 mAh battery.
