LG Unveils the Optimus LTE
While the world was busy holding their breath awaiting the news that was to come from Apple’s iPhone event, the rest of the mobile world moved forward with some newness. While iOS devices won’t see the likes of LTE 4G any time soon, phone makers like LG are keen to the curve and are embracing the 4G transition. LG unveiled a new LTE device yesterday, known as the Optimus LTE, while the name might not seem all that catchy, or even creative, it surely not relevant when you take a look at what this smart phone can offer.
LG’s CEO, President and Doctor extraordinaire Jong-seok Park was quoted saying “Our goal is to be a leading player in LTE devices by continuously offering best-in-class products based on our LTE patents and knowhow,” With a new dedicated focus on the LTE experience the Optimus LTE has been born. This phone is impressive. It comes with all the best features one would need to stay busy while on the move. This large slate styled device starts with a “True HD IPS Display” that measures in at 4.5 inches and sports a 1280×720 pixel resolution. Off to a great start with an amazing display the Optimus LTE gets better. It comes equipped with an amazing 4GB of internal storage and of course expandable microSD memory slot. It runs a super fast and capable 1.5 GHz dual core processor that is backed by 1GB of RAM. Its camera clocks in at 8 mega pixel and sports auto focus and an LED flash and a 1.3 mega pixel front facing shooter for all your video conferencing needs. All this power is managed by the greatness of Android version 2.3 with LG’s own overlay. The Optimus LTE comes with all the standards as well. Optimus LTE comes with connectivity like HDMI, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct (awesome, but not so standard), DLNA and of course Bluetooth. With the Optimus LTE you won’t have to worry about running low on power either, as it sports a huge 1830 mAh battery. This new Optimus is a high powered new contender on the block, are you interested?
The Optimus LTE will launch officially in South Korea and there is no info on it making its way around the globe, if it does I’m sure we could expect a name change once or twice. I can help you with one of those questions and pibossly give you some info on the other. Widgets are just things you use to customize your phone. Such as the weather on the top of his screen, other apps on the home screen, and such. I am not 100% Tech guy, but I love my tech shit. Anyways also to find Optimus V cases your better off finding one for the Optimus S. The Optimus V cases are more I believe. Any Optimus S case will fit the V because they are the same size phone.

Sounds promising. Lack of internal memory has been the real killer with LG’s pretty phones, glad to hear this one has halfway decent internal memory. I will have to look again to see if it also has one of their trademark attractive QWERTY sliders.
