LG Announces the Missing L: Meet the Optimus L4 II
LG’s Optimus L4 II becomes official! LG has announced some awesome smart phones over the years and just like any of their competitors, filling in the mid range with awesome is surely apart of the plan. Way back in February details of LG’s Optimus L series II handsets emerged into the realm of official. The L series handsets when initially announced came by way of the Optimus L7 II, the Optimus L5 II, and the Optimus L3 II. While most of these handsets have found homes across the world, it looks like LG may have forgotten about of the Optimus L’s, the Optimus L4 II.
Last month details surrounding the loner Optimus L4 II emerged into the rumor mill. Today, the Optimus L4 II is no longer a rumor and has been officially announced by LG. The LG Optimus L4 II aka, the LG E440 is a brand spanking new Optimus and makes its way into this hectic world running with the likes of Android version 4.1. As an entry level smart phone it comes packing a 3.8 inch HVGA touch screen that offers up a 480×320 pixel resolution at 152 pixels per inch. Internally the Optimus L4 II will come packing a 1700 mAh battery, alongside a single core 1 GHz Mediatek chipset, a PowerVR SGX 531 GPU, 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of build in storage and expandable memory options up to 32 GB. Around back we’ll find a 3 mega pixel camera with LED flash and video recording capabilities. Additional connectivity found in the Optimus L4 II is provided by GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, and micro USB. The L4 II will, just as all the other L series II handset be made available in a Dual SIM variation and should hit European and Asian markets sometime later this year. The handset is currently on sale in white or black and can be found in Russia and Ukrain for about $172 bucks, or 5,490 RUB.
