The LG Optimus G Super Phone Makes To Make its way State Side via Ma’Bell and the Now Network
The LG Optimus series of devices has been a staple within the ranks of most carriers stateside and abroad. The companies feature line of Optimus devices has a solid piece of hardware for every sector of the smart phone market place. From the LG Optimus Elite to the LG Optimus G the Optimus line up is getting stronger. Recently the LG Optimus G came into view and stunned a lot of on lookers with a amazing specs and a solid super slim build. At its time of release the Optimus G was a Korean exclusive that was destine for the states, however its exact plans lead me and most others to belive its presence here would not come around the bend for a while, similar to the LG Optimus VU’s which took seemingly a long while to makes its way to Verizon under the name of the LG Intuition. Luckily however for anyone interested, the Optimus G will be starting its world tour a bit sooner!
The LG Optimus G is an amazing new high powered flagship device that was announced and subsequently release last month to Korean bound carriers. The details on the handset read like a smart phone dream but the press information and announcement ended with an unanswered question surrounding its state side release. Today however brings good news to anyone interested! The LG Optimus G super phone is coming to At&t and Sprint! Ironically, a release date is still in the wind, but their presence and potential has become official. A set of press releases from At&t and PRNewsroom.com show the LG Optimus G coming to the two carriers. Ironically enough an exact time frame or even a “coming soon” was not included, pricing is still also a mystery. The Optimus G in case you missed it is a solid smart phone from LG with a very nice list of specs and an excellent hardware build. The device starts with the likes of a 4.7 inch True HD IPS Plus touch screen that clocks in with a 768×1280 pixel resolution at an amazingly saturated 318 pixels per inch. This beautiful touch screen will give its users access to the likes of Android version 4.0 and LG’s very own user interface. Internally the Optimus G packs in some excellent computing power with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 Quad core 1.5 GHz Krait processor, an Adreno 320 graphics processor, 2 GB of Ram, 16 GB of storage and expandable microSDHC memory options up to 64 GB of additional space. The camera on the original Optimus G clocked in at 13 mega pixels; in its stateside debut only the Sprint version will keep the original sensor while At&t will knock back the high end camera to about 8 mega pixels (good job At&t, good job). The camera capabilities range a huge gambit of excellent features from auto focus to even voice activation! Additionally this same camera can record video in full 1080p HD. A 1.3 mega pixel front facing camera is also present. Additional connectivity can be found with the likes of LTE, HSPA, GPS, and Bluetooth 4.0 with almost every profile imaginable, Wi-Fi, Hotspot, USB 2.0, HDMI via micro USB, MHL, DLNA, and NFC.
While the release dates and pricing is unknown, it would surely be safe to assume a release before the holiday shopping season and price that falls in line with most other high end competitive devices.
