The LG Lucid 3 and Samsung ATIV SE Headed to Big Red
An LG Lucid 3 and a Samsun ATIV SE leak into the wild, both headed for the likes of big red Verizon! Samsung and LG are obvious competitors that both work hard and well on getting carriers to stock their devices and sell them alongside their long term contracts. Today new pictures and details apparently show off two forth coming handsets from the manufacturers headed to big red Verizon. The expected LG Lucid 3 and the Samsung ATIV SE are in the headlines now and it should only be a matter of time before they make their way to store shelves.
Not nearly as exciting as the rumblings surrounding the Galaxy S5, or the new HTC One the Samsung ATVI SE is a new Verizon bound handset that brings the likes of Windows Phone and the ATIV name sake back into the forefront, even if it is just for a little while. Unfortunately the specific details are lacking at this point and the ATIV SE is only known as the follow up to the previously released ATIV S. Previously the ATIV SE was found floating around the rumor mill code named as the Huron. The device has been lingering around for months now and first signs of the handset appeared back in December of last year known as the SM-W750V. Unfortunately specifics on the handset are scarce, however we can see it runs with Windows Phone 8.1 and will have a rear facing speaker and Verizon branding…can’t forget the Verizon branding right?
The next device to hit the @EVleaks rumor mill is the LG Lucid 3. The Lucid series of smart phones by LG have been now a long standing staple found within the halls of big red’s offerings. About a year ago LG and Verizon announced the Lucid 2 which for the most part was a refinished Optimus F5. The information gives this new rendering a model number of VS876 and is according to the every credible source is indeed a next generation Lucid. It of course comes with Verizon branding everywhere and is expected to a mid range device as the Lucid heritage implies. According to PocketNow.com this new device is very similar to that of the LG F90 which has been rumored to be making its way to T-Mobile and Sprint as the Volt. If true, you should expect the Lucid 3 to come with a 4.7 inch qHD touch screen and a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor amongst other details.
