The LG L70 Set to Launch with MetroPCS

The LG L70 will find its way to MetroPCS! As the early months of this great New Year begin to become memories and the long haul sets in smart phone manufacturers are finally finding homes for their new wares! With MWC and CES behind the manufacturers the only thing left to do is get their hardware into the hands of end users! Early last month shortly before the start of MWC, LG took to the press with the launch of three new handsets. The L Series III became official including the L40, L70 and L90 handsets. The LG L90 has found a comfortable home in T-Mobile and now it looks like the L70 is poised to find its forever home!

The LG L Series III is if you didn’t know a collection of three mid range devices. The L90 is leading the pack in specs while the L70 and L40 fill out the range. While the L90 will be making its home with T-Mobile in the coming weeks it looks as if MetroPCS is getting in on the L Series III with an L70 of their own. According to a press rendering leaked by @Evleaks the L70 will soon be an option for current and potential MetroPCS customers. Unfortunately an exact time frame and price point is still in the wind, but when Evleaks something it’s highly probable it’s going to happen. So what can you expect from the mid range offerings of the mid range L Series III? The LG L70 starts with a 4.5 inch IPS LCD 480 x 800 touch screen that offers up 207 pixels per inch. Internally the handset comes with a highly capable 1.2 Ghz dual core processor with unnamed GPU, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of internal storage and expandable micro SD memory up to 32 GB. Around back of the L70’s 9.5 mm thin housing is a 5 mega pixel camera while a VGA quality shooter can be found up front for all your selfie needs. Additionally the handset comes with the standard connectivity such as GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, micro USB 2.0 and tethering or hotspot capabilities.

So is anyone interested in the MetroPCS bound LG L70? All things considered this handset will likely be very affordable. Sound off in the comments section below and let us know what you think and remember all the very best in original, aftermarket and OEM LG accessories are here.
