LG’s G Pro 2 begins its Launch Rolling out in Major Asian Markets
LG’s G Pro 2 gets ready for its Asian roll out! LG has been on a whirlwind of awesomeness lately. Maybe it’s the company’s involvement with Google’s Nexus project, or maybe somewhere within the walls of LG’s offices someone turned on the awesome switch. LG’s latest smart phones have recently brought a bit of innovation to the market with rear mounted button sets found on the G2, to superiorly curved touch screen designs with the G Flex and an amazingly powered super affordable Nexus 5. All of these amazing devices and others have perpetuated LG back into the forefront of smart phones and as a new year is upon us, so too is new LG handsets. The recently announced LG G Pro 2 has officially begun its roll out in Asia folks…hold on to your seats!
The LG G Pro 2 was officially unveiled on February 13th a few short days before the start of MWC. The device however was one of the many ‘hits’ at the trade show as its super slim build and ever lacking need for bezel, coupled with its rear mounted button set stole the show. Initially when LG announced the handset it was expected to launch through Korea that month and make its way into Asian markets come March. Well folks, it is March and the G Pro 2 has officially started its roll out. Ironically the company’s announcement did not specify exact markets, pricing or specific launch dates however Android Central states the company has indicated the larger Asian markets for this initial roll out which include, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong. While it is likely the G Pro 2 will vary slightly depending on location, the bulk of the awesomeness that makes the phone will stay the same. The G Pro 2 if you’ve forgotten starts with a 5.9 inch 1080×1920 IPS LCD full HD touch screen that offers up 373 pixels per inch. Internally it runs a highly capable Snapdragon 800 processor that clocks in with a 2.2 GHz quad core processor, 3 GB of RAM, expandable micro SD memory up to 64 GB. Add in a 13 mega pixel camera, an all day battery all running Android version 4.4 and you are left with one of the best phones of the year. Now all it needs to do is launch stateside!
