The LG F3Q Set to Launch with T-Mobile January 22nd
The LG Optimus F3Q looks to be heading for the shelves of T-Mobile! The QWERTY keyboard in the smart phone world is a thing of the past. Every now and then we will see a new keyboard based device pop up in the news and then quietly fade into obscurity. While Blackberry has plans on taking their lineup of devices back to the keyboard it seems that LG is producing another QWERTY based device. Way back in August of 2013 LG launched the QWERTY Slider Enact this year it’s the F3Q’s turn.
The LG Optimus F3Q first appeared in the new back in December of last year. A press rendering of the device from EVleaks showed the slider phone solidifying its place within the Optimus F range of devices from the manufacturer. Further details surrounding the original leak of the handset suggested it would find its way to the shelves of T-Mobile. Yesterday another piece of evidence has surfaced to support this rumor. TmoNews has gotten their hands on what looks to be an internal launch schedule for T-mobile and it shows the company will begin selling the LG F3Q starting on January 22nd. While the specifics on the handset are still unknown it is safe to assume this new keyboard clad device should be rather affordable and will share similar spec’s to that of the standard F3. The non QWERTY F3 uses a 4 inch 480×800 touch screen and carries with it a dual core 1.2 GHz processor, 4 GB of storage, a 5 mega pixel camera, 4G LTE connectivity as well as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. While it is likely the F3Q will sport slightly different spec’s there is a good chance it will be a repackaged F3. With this in mind and the general feel and look of the F3Q it should be safe to assume the device will not be expensive.
