The LG F5 Gets Leaked as the Lucid 2
The LG F5 slated for a Big Red launch as the Lucid 2. Heading into MWC last month, LG’s cards were on the table suit side up. The company’s flagship Optimus G Pro was heavily exposed while its lighter side, the Optimus L series II devices were also exposed a bit and ultimately announced at the show. What did not quite make the headlines leading up to or even during the event were LG’s Optimus F series handsets. The devices fit the mid range spectrum perfectly and include the F7 and F5. Late last month @evleaks all but confirmed the previously unannounced F3 was heading to Sprint and now they have some juicy details putting the F5 in Verizon clad dressing.
The LG Optimus F series handsets were shown off at MWC this year and were not expected to make their way stateside anytime soon, if ever. Surprisingly enough it seems that the F5 mode will be making its way to our shores under the watchful eye of Verizon. The new F5 is set to be the successor to the LG Lucid and will make its way to market known as the LG Lucid 2. Also known as the VS870, the new Lucid 2 will bring 4G LTE connectivity to the palms of end users everywhere. This new handset is said to come with a 4.3 inch qHD touch screen that is built around a dual core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon Krait processor and around back will house an awesome 5 mega pixel camera with LED flash and full 1080p HD video recording. Unfortunately the details surrounding the Lucid 2 are still unknown and will most likely make their appearance as a launch grows closer. Additionally the Lucid 2 should be made available next month and will be running the likes of Android version 4.1.2.
