LG’s E720 shows face in Poland

In the past few weeks there has been hype surrounding LG’s WP7 devices. Seemingly most of LG’s mobile attention has been focused on what WP7 has in store for the world. But it looks like the mega company LG can multitask. With the leak of this LG E720 it looks like LG has not forgotten about the ever growing Android market.

The supposed LG E720 has shown its face on an Android website based out of Poland. The new LG device is indeed an entry level phone that runs Froyo 2.2. The information that comes along with these pictures, state that the new LG E720 has a 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen, a 5MP camera, Wi-Fi, GPS and enters the entry level market with a 600 MHz Qualcomm MSM 7227 processor. The new LG E720 is also said to be running Froyo. The Froyo OS gives the new LG device the ability to hotspot its data signal as well as adds in some email Exchange support. Pricing availability and even confirmation of it being real have yet to be confirmed.

It looks like LG has seemingly no forgotten about the Android OS in the midst of WP7 hype. However, it seems that they will be leaving the high powered devices to the grips of WP7 as the last device LG entered into the Android platform (the Ally) was essentially a mid to entry level device as well. Maybe we will see the inception of a monster Android from LG after the WP7 hype blows over?

Tell us what you think of the LG E720, spark anything?
