Lenovo launches the Vibe Z2 Pro! Lenovo is a company that your likely very familiar with as they fill store shelves with awesome personal computer options. The company’s smart phone endeavors however is a bit lesser known here stateside. Lenovo however has recently acquired Motorola and mobile news from the company comes with a bit of interest across the board. The Vibe Z2 Pro while not the next best Moto under new management however it is a rather excellent device! A super thin build and a host of high end specs make for an impressive handset.
Late in the month of May the Vibe Z2 Pro was revealed as a rather awesome phablet. Shortly after this, the device made its way in and out of the headlines, ultimately leaving us with a full spec sheet and a launch date set for August 5th. Just as expected the Vibe Z2 Pro aka the K920 is here! So what can you expect? The handset starts with a super sized IPS LCD touch screen that offers up a 1440×2560 resolution across a 6 inch touch screen and sports a pixel density at 490 pixels per inch. This awesome screen is built into a metal housing that measures in at a super thin 7.7mm. Inside of this housing we are graced with a Qualcomm made Snapdragon 801 system chip that uses a quad core 2.5 GHz Krait processor, Adreno GPU, 3GB of RAM and up to 32 GB of internal storage. Around back you’ll have access to a 16 mega pixel camera that can record video in 4K resolution while a class leading 5 mega pixel camera can be found up front. Internally the handset gets its power from a huge 4000 mAh battery and will easily keep your connected with the likes of Android version 4.4, GPS, Dual SIM functionality, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-fi and NFC. The device while officially announced will go on sale starting in September.
