The Huawei Premia 4G Launched at MetroPCS
The Huawei Premia 4G announced for the shelves of MetroPCS. As of late pre-paid carriers have been seeing an influx of awesome phones that in one way or the other surely translates into more customers? Recently MetroPCS got a Galaxy Admire 4G, the Spirit 4G and even a flagship Galaxy S III and today new Huawei phone enters the inner circle. The carrier is well known for having affordable 4G services and excellent smart phones at usually rather affordable price points. This new handset from Huawei is no different. The Huawei Premia 4G is official today; let’s see what it has to offer shall we?
The Huawei Premia 4G is the latest Android handset to be offered by the carrier and while it’s not the top of the tops, it sure is keeping up with the Jones’s toward the mid range. The new Premia 4G runs with Android version 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich and brings a bunch of awesome features with it. MetroPCS added in a feature called joyn. This application will give its end users Wi-Fi and Video calling as well as instant messaging and file sharing, the only caveat; you’ll need a 4G LTE data plan. Hardware wise the Premia 4G starts with a Gorilla Glass 4 inch touch screen that comes with an 800×480 pixel resolution. Internally the Premia 4G will come with a more than capable 1.5 GHz dual core processor and 1 GB of RAM. Around back we can expect a 5 mega pixel camera with an LED flash and video recording capabilities as well as a 1.3 mega pixel front facing shooter. Additional details give the Premia 4G Bluetooth with A2DP profiles, Wi-Fi, expandable micro SD memory up to 32 GB, a 1650 mAh battery and we can’t forget the 4G LTE data speeds.
