The HTC Zara Shows Its Plastic Build Off for the World to See


The mysterious HTC Zara gets rendered and shown off to the world! The current news out of the HTC camp surround’s the company’s next foray into One, with the One Max.  As the company slowly amps up the oversized handset and deal’s with Robert Downey Jr in their amazingly odd commercial spots, it seems as if HTC is also getting ready to announce a more affordable plastic made smart phone for the masses. The HTC Zara, or so it is currently code named has seen itself in the printed press  before, today however we get a better glimpse into what the Zara may have to offer up.

The HTC Zara was originally exposed back in July as reporters and bloggers alike searched for a new scoop surrounding the HTC One Max. Also known as the T6 the One Max has and still is leading anyone interested on a wild ride. Shortly after the Zara was noticed in One Max documents, details of what it will eventually become began trickling out into the world. According to the rumor the Zara should will be only slightly larger than the previously launched HTC One Mini and come with a 4.5 inch touch screen display that offers up a 960×540 pixel resolution. Additionally the Zara is expected to come running with the likes of Android version 4.3 and the very latest in HTC’s Sense 5.5 UI. Around back of its plastic housing we’ll get an 8 mega pixel camera with LED flash, while up front an unannounced camera sensor will be housed amongst its dual Beat’s Audio speakers.  Internally the Zara is expected to come with a dual core Snapdragon S4 processor that clocks in a 1.2 Ghz, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory, expandable micro SD memory options and a 2100 mAh battery. The Zara is expected to launch before the close of this year and is likely to cost less than the One Mini and is anticipated to launch with Sprint when the time comes.
