Only certain aspects of HTC Sense 3.0 in your current HTC Device

HTC makes some of the best mobile devices I have ever had the pleasure to use. My first Android phone is an HTC and uses HTC Sense. Sense if your un aware is HTC’s skin or UI overlay that comes equipped on the majority of their devices. When you see pictures of Android phones or your friends using them and you see that large flip style clock with the current weather you are looking at HTC’s Senses – or at least a part of it. Sense is something that I have become accustom to, it’s become of the reasons I love my device. It’s amazing sense of styling and perfect widgets is enough to make me never want to leave Sense behind. But a new HTC Sense is making its way into the arena and it seems that HTC does not want me to have it.

Twitter is a great place where customers of HTC products like Tom Mannington can directly ask HTC if they plan to launch HTC Sense 3.0 for his newly acquired Desire HD. Only problem is you may get some news you don’t want. Tom shot a message over to HTC’s Twitter account inquiring about HTC Sense 3.0 on his Desire HD, you know if Sense 3.0 will be supported on his Desire. The response is most likely not expected. HTC replied saying – “due to Sense’s hardware requirements, only our newest devices (Flyer, EVO 3D, Sensation) will be able to support it.” Which right off the rip sounds like a bunch of shenanigans. So take heed my HTC toting crowd, if you’re using a high powered device such as the Desire HD the Sense 3.0 UI will not be in your cards.  Until of course it is embedded into some new custom ROM’s. Which then HTC reigns will not mean much.

Oh but wait – An update has been posted

**In an update to HTC’s Twitter account they have stated “Clarification: aspects of the latest HTC Sense won’t work on some previous devices. We are working to incorporate other aspects that will”. This surely sounds a bit better than the previous malarkey. So all of you Sense loving HTC fans – myself included – may expect to see a dumb down version of Sense 3.0 for our “previous” devices.

Take a gander at what the new HTC Sense 3.0 offers below.

The new HTC Sense tickle your fancy? I know I’m surely interested. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
