HTC’s One Max Finally Becomes Official!
The HTC One Max finally becomes an official member of the HTC family! Ah, the HTC One. The HTC One was launched back in February of this year and launched too much fan fare shortly their after. The One brought a new level of quality to Android based smart phones as its aluminum uni-body build brought a new level of ‘wow’ into the fold. Shortly after the One’s debut into the mainstream, HTC launched the One Mini. Following the launch of the One Mini has been a persistent spell of rumors surrounding the One Max. The Max was poised as being the largest of the three siblings and is set to offer up HTC’s finest build in phablet form. Today after months of rumor, HTC has made the One Max official!
The HTC One Max is official! According to HTC the One Max will launch globally starting “from mid-end October” and is expected to hit the shelves of Verizon first here stateside. Pricing on the handset has unfortunately not been revealed, however we are expecting to pay a pretty penny for such premium awesomeness. The One Max starts with a 5.9 inch S-LCD 1080×1920 full HD touch screen display and is poised as the largest Android handset the company has ever made. It comes with a 10.29 mm thin body and weighs about 217 grams. The Max runs with Android version 4.3 and is skinned to the brim with HTC’s “always improved” Sense 5.5. Internally the One Max gets its go from a Snapdragon 600 system chip that uses a 1.7 GHz quad core processor, Adreno 320 GPU, 2 GB of Ram, 16 or 32 GB of storage and offers expandable micro SD memory options up to 64 GB. Around back of the device we find a 4 UltraPixel camera while a 2.1 mega pixel sensor resides up front. The back of the Max also houses a fingerprint scanner which will allow users to “lock or unlock the screen and quickly launch up to three favorite applications by assigning an individual finger to each”. Additionally the Max comes with a huge 3300 mAh battery, NFC, LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, DLNA, and MHL. And, that about sums up the One Max, be on the lookout for the device as it should begin arriving at your carriers local store soon.
