HTC’s Hot Streak Continues with the Japan bound HTC J

The HTC hot streak is in full swing with no sight of slowing down. The company has recently announced the likes of their soon to be legendary One series devices, the EVO 4G LTE, and leaks of handsets like the China bound Desires, and the Incredible 4G LTE. With devices like these that not only cover all sections of the market place but also sport amazing specs and perfect user interfaces, HTC is literally on a tear. However the show is not over. The HTC J has appeared in the wild and looks to be headed to Japan in order to spread the HTC greatness.

Just few days ago a new HTC device appeared in the wilderness of the interwebs. The official Japanese HTC website accidently leaked the HTC J only to pull the information shortly thereafter and ultimately  make the device official a day later. Up until earlier this week the HTC J aka ISW13HT was shrouded in mystery and did not poke up anywhere in the ocean of leaks. So what can we expect from the HTC J? Well firstly, we can most likely expect it to never leave the shores of Japan, which is unfortunate as the build and specs look and sound enticing. The HTC J is headed to the Japanese carrier JDDI during the coming summer season. It comes with two unexpected perks, some Beats Audio earbuds and WiMaxx 4G connectivity. Starting with a killer combination of Android version 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and HTC Sense 4.0 the HTC J is surely off to a good start. The handset as you can see is a standard slate style device that shows to have a slightly protruded touch screen and judging by its pictures seemingly has a nice build. Delving a bit deeper into the devices guts, the true story of the J surfaces. Of course it runs the latest and greatest in Sense and Android but its computing power comes from a 1.5 GHz dual core SnapDragon S4 chip set that will be backed by 1 GB of RAM, 16GB ROM and Adreno 225 GPU. Internally it can store up to 16GB of data, but if you need more expandable micro SD can help up to 32 GB. It also comes with an 8 mega pixel rear facing camera as well as a front facing shooter that clocks in at 1.3 mega pixels. Of course lest not forget its 4G WiMax capabilities as well as standard connectivity like Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n. It is said to pack in an 1810 mAh battery, measure in at 5.20× and weigh 5 ounces. Oh…the screen, I almost forgot. The display on the HTC J measures in at 4.3 inches uses OLED technologies and provides for a 540×960 pixel resolution. Check out this video of a super fast finger giving the HTC J a walk through.
