HTC EVO 3D Gets Pricing via the Shack – Still no release date
The HTC EVO was the first 4G device to grace the world with its super fast speeds and terrible battery life. Since the dawn of the EVO 4G many devices have released under the same form factor 4G in tow or not. The next logical step in the EVO’s evolutionary process is a refresh or part duex if you will. HTC has remolded their beloved EVO with some 3D powers and a reasonable price tag. The original EVO 4G was announced in March of last year and released in June. The EVO 3D was announced March this year and has yet to release. Whose taking bets for a June – July launch?
While the launch of the EVO 3D is still unconfirmed it would make sense that a June or July release date is more than likely. Pre orders on the EVO 3D from Sprint and Radio Shack has begun last week and it seems that a bit more detail on the new 3D device has surfaced on the interwebs. GoodandEvo a dedicated EVO blog site has recently published a small advert giving pricing and other small details on the EVO 3D. The HTC EVO 3D will run you about $200 bucks on a new two year agreement or $500 without. Other goodies included in your EVO 3D purchase are a copy of The Green Hornet in 3D, which was all but expected from the recent ‘system dump’ of the EVO 3D. Radio Shack is also throwing in some incentives as well, if you pick up an EVO 3D from the Shack you will get a copy of The Black Eyed Peas “Phenomenon” song as well as $100 credit if you trade in your EVO Shift 4G or EVO 4G. In case you were wondering what all the hype is about; let’s take a little refresher here. First the EVO 3D, is well 3D. The EVO 3D uses a qHD 3D capable display with a 540 x 960 pixel resolution.
